Shasta Lake

Houseboating on Lake Shasta

Early June we took the boat out to Lake Shasta and met our friends Bruce and Bridget on their houseboat. We spent another great few days visiting with friends and enjoying the lake.

We found a beautiful cove to tie up the houseboat for a few nights. We had a great view of the McCloud arm of the lake for our spot.

Other friends joined us on their patio boats and the boys headed out fishing.

One of the coves up the McCloud River arm of the lake. The lake was only a few feet from the crest which is unusual for this time of year. There were not as many waterfalls this time of year as we saw in April but it was still beautiful.

We had a great time spending a few days on the lake with our friends. Hope we can make it out there again soon!
