Weekend Fun

I decided to drive down to Sacramento for a few days to spend time with family and friends while Don stayed home and did a few more home improvement projects - isn't that a given? My first stop was at my good friend Susan's (Mike's mother-in-law) house for an evening of catching up with each other and having dinner together with Mike and Jayme. The next day I went to Emily's house to visit and spend time with Sophia. On Saturday, we took a walk to the park and then the girls went out to lunch at PotteryWorld. We met Susan and Jayme and my sister-in-law Deanna for a wonderful afternoon together and enjoyed a gourmet lunch and then "window" shopping in the most amazing patio and home design shop. I just imagined that the Housewives of New Jersey or where ever could shop there with all the ornate Tuscany themed items and the huge price tags to go with them!

I had a great weekend just spending time with my family! To my surprise, when I came hone Don had installed two new bathroom windows that look amazing! It just wouldn't be the same without coming home to some kind of a remodel surprise! At least this one didn't require the removal of a wall!

I had such a great time that I am looking forward to visiting again soon. Besides, we need new windows in the front of the house installed!
